Default Premier League referee CYCLES to World Cup in 1,700-mile trek toRussia

The 47-year-old match official made £60,000 for a string of Whistle Stop
Tour charities by pedalling to Kaliningrad from the FA’s training base
at St George’s Park, Staffs.

Setting off on June 11 Atkinson averaged around 90-miles-a-day as he
cycled through France, Belgium, Holland, Germany and Poland before
reaching his Russian destination in time for England’s final group match
against Belgium.
