Default Looking for a book I saw

I saw an interesting-looking book the other night but was either too
hurried or too cheap to buy it, but now I wish I had.

I don't recall the title exactly, but the book is a memoir of a guy
who was grossly overweight and just decided one day he would start
biking, building toward some competition or event that was less than
a year away.

The front cover has a naked fat man riding a bike; the back cover
shows the author in a biking outfit, looking very svelte.

Anyone know the title/author of this book? I can't just go back to
the bookstore and find it, because it was out of place when I looked
at it.

tmac, still enjoying her Roadie and looking for some inspiration

His name is Michael M? The author went from 250 to somewhere a lot less
according to the flap. I saw it in the bicycling section of Borg & Nobles.

That's the one. I'll look for it again tomorrow.

Thanks,

tm

Please let me know what you thought of it. I picked it up and put it down
too. Then after buying a couple of other books I thought again about buying
it. Unfortunately I can only read so many books at one time and keep them
straight in my head..lol.

Hi! Couldn't tell if someone had given you the name of the book. I think
it's Heft on Wheels: A Field Guide to Doing a 180, by Mike Magnuson. Hope
this helps! melissa
