Dayton, Ohio bike trails?
I will have a chance to ride some of the bike trails near Dayton, OH:
http://www.dot.state.oh.us/bike/Southwest.htm And I'm wondering which ones are the nicest. Has anyone here ridden any of these? Opinions? Thanks for your help. |

The Little Miami is a great trail to ride and the section from Yellow Springs south to Milford is the best part of the trail. The section that runs to London from Yellow Springs is a little flat and wide open. There are some nice places to eat in Loveland right along the trail. |

Our pelaton will be staying in a cottage at Buck Creek S.P. and riding a century (on a weekday). When we get to Xenia I wasn't sure which way to go. 8 miles on each? So you suggest just keep going south. I'll buy that. Heading east has to be dead flat. And west would be switching river valleys to the Great Miami River. Services (water) starts to look pretty slim past Spring Valley. But I'm sure we'll survive. 8^) |

I don't think you'll have too much trouble finding food and water. http://www.miamivalleytrails.org/miami.htm |

It was an outstanding and well maintained trail, the best I've ever ridden. Very nice. If you like hills this ride is not for you. There seems to be a goog burger place in Oregonia right next to the trail, but it's closed on Monday (the day we were there). There's plenty of places to get water along the trail. I look forward to riding the other Dayton area trails. |
