JD Damn, I can't believe I never heard that album. It is so far from anything else they produced. Full on Jazz influence. By and far the best music synergism they ever had. Bass and drums were always just background for them, but not on Lonesome Crow. I still love a lot of their later stuff, esp Love Drive, but after listening to Lonesome Crow, I can now hear the formula in much of their music. -- Slack |

My favorite on that particular LP was "Coast To Coast". I've owned Lonesome Crow for quite a few years on CD. If it was not for Rhino Records, that might not have been possible because it's on the Rhino Rampage label. Lonesome Crow was very unique and wouldn't sound a lot like the Scorps without Klaus. JD |
