Default hybrid cars and bikes

What's everyone think of the Toyota Prius Honda Civic hybrid and the like ?
The Prius has what they call stealth mode (i.e. all electric mode) no
motor/exhaust noise sometimes. And they are smaller for now so for a
bicycle to take the lane you really have to out there but they reduce our
dependence on oil and they run cleaner than most so I say bring on the
hybrids !

Priapus is a Greek/Roman fertility god. Possibly Mr. Reuteler was
thinking of priapism, which is a male disorder that requires urgent
attention by an urologist?
