I didn't realize it ever snowed in hell! Learn something new every day,
I guess.

Never heard the term, "Like a snowball in Hell"?

Only in reference to "As much chance as..." or "As rare as..." and
phrases like that.

And if it was snowing like "all hell," as Duane said, does that mean
it's finally freezing over down there?

Where's a philosophy major when you need one?

The Eagles were not going to tour again unless/until Hell froze over.
So it must have because they did...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hell_Freezes_Over

For a scientific explanation, http://www.snopes.com/college/exam/hell.asp

Note: "Sometimes the student's comments culminate in the assertion that
hell must be exothermic because a girl he'd been chasing had sworn it'd
be a cold day in hell before she'd sleep with him, and he'd so far been
unable to get to first base with her."

QED: Hell has frozen over.

I wuz over to CanoeVillage where the Michigan Crew sez the top counties have run water taps continuously all winter, that not a single area of open water is unfrozen now, that the frost at Traverse City goes to 12'...bragging rights.

Packages imported by DHL, UPS, or FedEx are likely to have a customs
brokerage fee attached, of between $20 and $50, in addition to any
duty that's owed, even if the goods are free of duty. Goods imported
by the post office will have a smaller (about $5, but it's changed
recently) fee attached, if US Customs has decided that the package is
dutiable.

Per Phil W Lee:
The trick is to assign it a low value (below the duty threshold)
instead of sending it as a gift.

That is my plan, although I did not there was an official "Gift"
designation. Gotta talk to people at the local post office, I guess.

Took it out of the manufacturer's backing, nastified it by rubbing beach
sand on the plastic float, applied a little bleach, wrote a "Property
of...." in magic marker on the float, hit the fabric/wrist float with a
little Clorox... intend to put a few printouts of Crag's List ads for
same-brand cams at very low prices in the box and so-on and so-forth.

I wonder if there's any official designation for "returning lost
property"? :-D

Sounds logical, but I doubt it in light of what I have read/heard so
far: they want to know exactly what is in the package...period.

Took it to the USPS today and asked the guy specifically about the
declared description - wanting to make it as vague and non-specific as
possible and said basically "WebCam, good; assorted electronic gadgets,
bad"....
