Default Cyclist punched car wing mirror

A cyclist's day went from bad to worse when he was apprehended by police
after cycling down the middle of the road and damaging a motorist's
wing-mirror.

Dylan Stewart, 30, of Railway Terrance, Wesham, near Kirkham, pleaded guilty
to causing damage.

He was given a 12 months conditional discharge and ordered to pay £30
compensation plus £50 costs by Blackpool magistrates.

Julie Fogarty, prosecuting, said a woman was driving her Fiat Panda on
Garstang Road when she came upon Stewart cycling in the centre of the road
on July 25 about 1.20pm.

Stewart put two fingers up and punched her wing mirror.

He told police he had been working 20 hours a day six days a week and had
then been dismissed from his job.

To add to his woes he had argued with his girlfriend on the day of the
offence and then decided to go for the ride.

Stewart told magistrates: "Things got even worse after - I split up with my
girlfriend."

Doug will be along soon, together with the other usual suspects, to tell us
it was the motorist's fault......

So anyway I was riding along when a car pulled out of a side road when
I had right of way. It then got stuck in traffic in front of me and I
knocked on the back window as I passed him. Guy gets out and starts
shouting that I had frightened his kid. I said he had nearly run me
over and that that was more dangerous that knocking on his window. He
said he would call the police: I replied, "Well, you better have
something to call them about".
With a magnificent swooping motion of my fist I pounced upon his car,
stealthily and catlike, and smashed the driver's door mirror from the
car to the ground. The electrics were left hanging out of the door: I
was perfection at that moment. He became hysterical in the presence of
such power and beauty.
The sound of the smashing was one of the most musical and therapeutic
noises I have ever heard - I truly enjoyed a trip to heaven that day.
His bloated and indignant face mouthing threats like a goldfish in an
aquarium seeking food was like manna from heaven as I left to continue
my journey with a spring in my pedal.
Praise the Lord!

Well done Justin. I hope you are proud of yourself. I was right when I
called you a thug. That's exactly what you are.

And how can a car which pulls out of a side turning in front of him, travels
in the same direction as him and stays so far ahead that he only catches up
at red traffic lights possibly "run [him] over"?

Amen to that, Brother.
Even though I am an atheist I will join in with that exultation.

The angry ******* should have been jailed. He's not fit to be on the
road.

Have you developed a special wrist action technique for the swift
meting out of justice to the errant driver's door mirror, Mr Pad?

Simple Simon has a special wrist action technique.....

I expect he has a special wrist action for lots of things.
