Removing Anodizing ?
- Bob - writes:
Any easy chemical way to do this and not attack the underlying alloy ? Oven cleaner with lye, and a plastic scrub brush and gas mask. 2000 grit sandpaper and simichrome or NEVR-Dull wadding. Took me 30 mins to make a black seatpost into a polished seatpost. There is almost no loss of aluminum - i'd guestimate less than 2 grams lost. - Don Gillies San Diego, CA |
