Tonite, at 10:09 EST....look in the sky for the moon. It will be the
largest and brightest full moon since 1991 and it won't happen again
until 2029 (well after Mini Phinney retires with ZERO Tour wins).

I thought it was when he turned into a werewolf.

Has anyone ever really tipped T Phinney as a Tour hopeful?

It must really, really hurt you to realize that he has had more
success before the age of 21 than you've had your entire career.

dumbass,

mini phinney barely beat mini-me in the TT and he weighs 50 lbs.
more.

in the protour there are two dozen guys who can TT as fast as him and
weight 130 lbs. his only hope is that they all get popped in another
puerto raid.

Moonbase Beta,

The 19 year cycle is for the full moon to appear on the
fall equinox - so-called "Harvest Moon" - not for it to be
especially large and bright. 10:09 pm EST (10:09 CDT)
is the time of the equinox. The moon technically isn't
full until a few hours later, although I don't think one can
tell the difference by eye.

The full moon, of course, is when LANCE turns his
face towards the sun and we can see at night by the
glow of his reflected fame. Or maybe it was he turns
his ass towards the sun and moons us. I've been
having trouble with the short-term memory ever since
I stopped getting those little packets from Joe Papp
in the mail. Anyway, the Harvest Moon is the full moon
on which Apes can be heard howling in the lonesome
night, baying for the memories of long-gone podium girls.

Magilla is the same as the movies or newspapers.
When you know the subject he goes on about it is
obvious he knows nothing about it.

As far as I know, everything he says about Liz Hatch is true.

Dumbass,

Indurain weighed 45 lbs more than mini-me. Which is not to say that
I think Phinney has a future in grand tours, he doesn't. But if he
somehow did it wouldn't be unprecedented.

Don't they test for Indurain's somehow nowadays?

The implication there is that Indurain was somehow unique.
I'm not sure I'd buy into that. Even if Joe Papp was selling
it.

I feel like I should argue with that statement, but it's so opaque that
I'm not sure that I don't disagree with it. Or not.
