anyone ride a bicycle down the Siskyou's interstate grade ?

I don't know if it is legal to ride HWY 5 through the Siskiyou -- I've
never seen bikes on it. I was driving down to California (and back) a
few months ago and was wondering the same thing. I was also thinking
that the ride between Red Bluff and Ashland would be a brutal two days
of climbing. You would have another semi-brutal day the next day
between Grants Pass and Cottage Grove. Every time I've ridden from
Oregon to California or vice versa, it has been along the coast --
which has some long climbs (Fort Brag/Leggett, Crescent City, Gold
Beach), but nothing like the Siskiyou. And yes, Bandon is pretty
dreary -- many of the coast towns are -- Bandon and Tillamook for
example. It must be releated to cheese (although the Bandon cheese
factory closed, IIRC). -- Jay Beattie.

I think they would.

"Don't knock masturbation; it's sex with someone I love!"

Woody Allen... I think.

Also:

"I'm such a good lover because I practice a lot on my own."
