Trek Pure Sport

Any reviews? It's a $500 commodity path bike--quality should be fine like all bike shop bikes at that price point, ride it and see if you like it before somebody tells you that you like it. Tell you what--it's cashing in on the Electra Townie crank forward craze--they've become hugely popular path bike, especially at my local LBS. People just love them for tootlin around the neighborhood, going to the store, visiting our local hot dog bus, and all the normal bike stuff. So try the Trek, but try some of the Electras as well, the ones with the Nexus internally geared hubs are totally fuss free and start at around $400. http://www.rei.com/product/717377 |
