Default Stage 9 finish

Seemed to me no teams wanted to chase down Fedrigo and Pellizotti.
Anybody have ideas about that?

Yes, you should watch the stage finish over again, but this time
concentrate on the race.

It is not the finish but the race from kilometer 30 to
kilometer 20 from the end where the chase brought back
hardly any time at all compared with what is possible.

According to Fignon, there was much less headwind in that section, so
the breakaway had less of a disadvantage.
