"Cities in the modern era have been overrun by cars and trucks. Streets have
been stolen from human uses by invasive street users. Not only is this
method unlikely to be sustained into the future, it also robs society of
some of its most important public spaces. Carfree cities are a delightful
solution to many different problems at once."

Gawd, is doug still spouting his drivel? Perhaps he should research the
amount of horse manure that needed to be collected from the streets every day
in London before the car replaced nags, not to mention the amount of disease
it caused.

As for congestion, yes , it was sooo much less congested in past times.

After all, no human being has ever been known to drive or ride in or on a
motor vehicle and no useful purpose has ever been served by a motor vehicle,
has it?

Who exactly does he think uses the cars? If he took a few moments, he would
find out that the car is being used by humans, so his point is rather lost!

Good video.

My pet peeve is the noise. That is what keeps people from talking.
Segregate the traffic so only EVs and cyclists are above ground.

It'll take a lot of construction work.

And they're neck and neck! JMS vs Doug! Final straight! Who'll be the
leader in "Most killfile entries"...

Who will be the winner in the 'biggest ****' stakes? Doug or Mason?
