Here's Luc and Beau. There were 29 so far who answered the poll "It's
never coming off". So the workshop will be pretty fun. I guess we should
have a little ceremony where we cut them all off then make a chain from
them. Ken, are we going to have similar wristbands for Unicon XV?

OMG, you had to pick the photo when I had a bad hair day! Gargh!!!!

Yeah, I think we're looking into doing that sort of thing. Lynne our
event manager thinks they were pretty nifty.

Ken

p/s that's a way funky thing you've done with the Window there

Hey Ken!

A little tip: Some street/flat riders (including me), didn't liked the
metal thing on the wristband! In some tricks the metal part hurted us a
bit.

In the trials comp, riding with gloves it scratched a my skin too...

A new design without metal parts would be better!

BTW, My wristband is on here in my side... This weeK I'm making a panel
with all UNICON Stuff to put on my bedroom I will looks cool!

The metal bit looks like Aluminium to me. I'm no physicist, but last
time I tried sticking a magnet to aluminium, it didn't stick.

So surely the MRI would be ok? Ask the doctor when you have the MRI.
They can always remove it then.

Thanks, we'll keep that in mind. Not sure how else it could be
fastened yet though.

I was going to keep my wristband on forever but because of my job I had
to remove it. But now I solved the problem by putting buttons and now I
can remove it and put it back whenever I want. In addition it is now
easier to wash!

Here is the pictu

Mines still on. I put some duck tape around the metal bit so now it lies
flat and doesn't hurt. It was also showing some stress there so
hopefully it will reinforce it. I'm not too optimistic on it lasting
until the next unicon though, it looks like it's fraying on the edges

I have a cool tan line from it too!
