Any shops with angle parking seems to be shocking for that - tow
planning disaster which is all over Melbourne - I consciously scoo
around the Union/Belmore intersection shops for that exact reason!

I'm just hoping that this Boroondara cycling money might result in
crossing across Balwyn Rd between Belmore and Whitehorse... that plac
is hideous to get across in the evenings...

No, all that money is PBN, so onroad lanes. There have bee
council/vicroads mutterings about putting lights at Gordon/Whitehors
which could be your answer. Write to ProgressPress and Vicroads (i
that order).
There will be lanes put in the length of Mont Albert Rd, Greythorn Rd
and Union (East Balwyn Roundabout to nearish MontalbertRd i think).
Maybe turn left at Gordon/Whorse and go along Balwyn till you get t
Winmallee? Taht way you can keep moving whilst waiting for a
opportunity to cross...

PS im tryin somethin different tonight to circumvent VicSt gorge.
AlbertElizabethleft/Nicholsonright/GippsBridgeKewBoulevardMcEvoybackstreets-to-KewJunction.
That way theoretically the climbing is spread out over a longe
distance and much more fixed-friendly.
Let you know how it goes..

Well done - you described exactly what I do at Balwyn Rd!! On a ba
night you can still end up stranded on the wrong side for a fair fe
minutes however... Not always an unappreciated 'rest'! Letter sound
like a plan - Shall get drafting (the writing type!)...

Goodly sounding bike lanes! Shall look forward to these..
