SPOTTED- Parent and Child on road cyclists
Cycling home from work yesterday past my local school I saw a mother
and her child (6 or 7 years old) cycling away from the school. Both were on the road with the mother in the primary position following the child who was closer to the kerb. I've lived here for 15 years and its the first time I can remember seeing a parent picking her child up from the school by bike. Almost all the kids live within half a mile of the school and mostly walk although there is a fair number who are taken to and from by car.Despite living within the half mile catchment area. Iain |

What? Seemed a perfectly decent and interesting post to me Huh, these bloody cyclists and their disgusting agenda to promote their perverted practises to children - this "iarocu" fellow sounds like a thoroughly degenerate sort. I mean, fancy thinking that it's a good thing when an adult forces their sweet, innocent child to use a health-conscious, environmentally friendly form of transport rather than take them to school in the car like NORMAL people! It's disgusting, I tell you. Someone call social services before that poor child discovers lycra! d. |

Kinesin came up with the following;:
It's good to see any change in car drivers, especially the school rule - What makes you think it was a change, and that she was a car driver before? -- Paul ... (8(|) Homer Rules ..... Doh !!! ebay stuff 7996850544 |

Arthur, sweetie, make an appointment to have your eyes tested. Note the :-P Pardon my lack of understanding of smilies. Was there any point in the OP quoting the whole mesage again just to make a very unfunny joke anyway? Oh, but a :-P makes everything better. And being patronised and called sweetie doesn't go down well either. Arthur (in grumpy old man mood) NB as an aside, your spam trap in your email address seems to contain non-ASCI characters which I have to edit out manually before the news server here will accept the post. Any chance of changing it? -- Arthur Clune |
