I don't do it often, but if I had to ride in the low-40s or below more than I do, I'd probably just get a pair of cycling tights. I'm not sure any drawbacks, except I've got really long legs and it's almost impossible to get specialty clothing that fits. Also, part of my little obsession is not having rain fill up my shoes and for that, it seems like something that goes over the shoes is needed. -- PeteCresswell |
