Default Bike rack that fits with disk brakes

Anyone recommend a rack that will clear the rear disk brake of my (non-rear
suspension) bike?

Wouldn't most beam racks do that?

Where are you sticking the bike? On the roof or hanging off the back?
Surely any rack though will clear a rear disc brake.

For bikes I've seen, almost any will do if you have mount bolt holes and are
willing to use a longer bolt.
On the LH side, use a longer bolt and space it out with a suitable bit of
thick walled metal tubing. If really stuck, an appropriate number of nuts,
or a lot of washers can act as the spacer.

I got a Tortec touring rack on my Kona Sutra with no spaceers etc. The
Sutra has sliding dropouts, so I was able to move the brake to a
position which didn't interfere with the rack mount.

That was my initial thought, too, but I suspect he means a rack to go on
the bike, not a rack for the bike to go on.

Doh, doh, doh!!! It's just that I've got bike roof-racks on my mind at
the moment!
