I had the chance to ride with her briefly about 20 years ago. She didn't
look bad at all. It's more than just sun. Beryl Burton looked a hell of
a lot better at a comparable age. Longo should try drinking more tea.


Certainly none of us look worse than we did 20 years ago.
Oh, wait.

Beryl Burton had an unfair advantage - living in the UK,
she was never exposed to the sun. Just think of Longo
as the hidden downside to all that sun-kissed, Mediterranean
lifestyle, Year in Provence good living claptrap.
