It's high time that we put a halt to this abuse and sacrifice of our
natural
areas and of our young people. Mountain biking accelerates erosion,
creates
V-shaped ruts in trails, kills small animals and plants on and next
to the trail, and drives wildlife and other trail users off the
trails and out of the
parks. What's good about THAT???

Why are you wasting your time here, when the obvious problem is at
the very top? This isn't a conspiracy, it's right out there in the
open.

So I'd suggest you stop hanging out here and go do the protest thing
in Lafayette Square, across from the White House, and try to do
something about getting rid of the guy in the oval office who thinks
mountain bikes are so cool, he's probably going to open up *every*
National Park to them. No kidding. In fact, you might even be
concerned about his future plans for Iraq; it's just possible he
might allow mountain biking there as well.

I hear there's some brutal "urban" riding in Iraq.

It's important to "accessorize" there...
