6 day tour of Tuscany
I've just returned from a 6 day trip between Siena and Pienza in
Tuscany. I've put a trip report online at http://www.lkjh.org/bike/italy/index.html . I would certainly recommend Tuscany as a cycling destination - although June, July and August are probably best avoided 'cos of the heat. Regards, Kirby |

@news8.svr.pol.co.uk: I've just returned from a 6 day trip between Siena and Pienza in Tuscany. I've put a trip report online at http://www.lkjh.org/bike/italy/index.html . Nice report. I did a similar tour early this month. May is the best time to visit Tuscany, when the wildflowers are blooming and the daytime temperatures are mild. The roads, towns, scenery, food, and local residents are all great. |
