Does anyone know how to convert the tubing wall thicknesses listed on
this page http://www.tetcycles.com/Frames/Tubing/tubing.html to more
conventional (SI or Imperial) units?

handy drill chart on the wall:
0.4mm = .0158"
0.5mm = .0197"
0.6mm = .0236"
0.7mm = .0276"
0.8mm = .0315"
0.9mm = .0354"
1.0mm = .0394"

Just to put that in perspective:

The sheets of paper in my printer come out to be roughly .1mm

..6mm is 6 sheets
..9mm is 9 sheets

Really, it's that close, close enough with a vernier scale caliper.

Human hair is roughly 3 thousandths of an inch across

So you'd get 8 hairs for .6mm and 12 hairs for .8mm

You may use this information for good or evil.
