Default Mountain Bikers Are Happy to Ride Amidst Extreme Air Pollution!

Evolution in action! This is a good indication that mountain bikers
are, let's say, a bit SLOW!

*chortle* What an astonishing load of guff Dr Mike "square wheels good"
Vandeman! From those pics I saw a cross-section of a local community
enjoying the opening of an urban cycle park. Kids and adults brushing-up
their bike handling skills together and having fun.

Oh sorry - I forgot that fun is taboo in the puritanical &
oh-so-spiritually perfect universe of square wheels Mike. Unfortunately
Mike that universe only exists in your ever so narrow mind.

In a world of 6 billion people most of us inevitably live in cities and
don't have the luxury of sitting atop a sustainable pine tower in the
middle of the wilderness pontificating about communing with acorns and
squirrels.

Possibly the most imaginative and creative use of a typically wasted
oddly-shaped space found in urban environments.
Nowhere near the precious wilderness.
It would seem that everyone wins.

And Mike the LIAR still rants..............

Yawn

snip all

After all the years of vandeman's ridiculous assertions and rants, all
the people that have tried to argue and reason with him all to no avail.

He's playing the Velikovsky game, and he's pretty terrible at it.

He has no sense of pragmatism, which works a lot better than stubborn
idealism in the real world. He could win the war, but it might mean
he'd have to give up a battle or two, and in his mind that just
doesn't add up.

Hmmm. Not one mention of the MULTI-LANE FREEWAY right above them. In
denial?

on driving motor vehicles. Or do you BIKE to all of your trails? ...

Then show me how it's done, sidewalk superintendent. The fact is,
you don't have a clue how to deal successfully with the mountain
biking problem.

You, Michael J. Vandeman, should be heralding this as the proper use of
land, and a good place where mountain bikes ought to be used. The impact on
wildlife is virtually nil, if not actually nil. The adverse effects of bike
tires creating erosion are non-existant. Hikers will not be in the area.
Bears are not there. Maybe a few insects, but probably not. No endangered
plants. None of the stuff you have made a lifetime of protecting will be
affected by using the area for bike riding. Bike riders riding on the trails
and obsticles here are not affected by "extreme air polution" any more than
a road bike rider riding in traffic, so the inference is bogus at best, and
outright wrong in the worst case. (There is nothing in the photo album to
indicate any air pollution at all, much less "extreme air pollution," as you
have asserted, the riders do appear to be happy though; that part is not a
lie as much as I think the rest is.)

PS
It's a photo ablum, not a story. There is no mention of anything ...

Don't you see, Mikey? It's you against the world.
I drive to the trailhead. I drive to the store. I drive everywhere.
So does everyone else. Why are there multilaned freeways that
are constantly jammed. Cuz everyone is driving DumHead!!!

So there's a trail under the freeway.
So what? That's not denial. That's use of space.

Face it Vanderschmuck. No one agrees with you.
No one cares about what you are saying.
Not any environmental groups. Not a newsgroup.
Not a politician. Not a voter. Not a citizen. Not the wildlife. Not the
wilderness
You are irrelevant, a lonely pathetic rant.
If we didn't occasionally answer you here
no one would even know you were alive.

Yawn.....
