One other advantage of these types of lights that you don't get with

most bicycle-specific lights is the adjustable beam. This is especially

useful when you're using flash mode in the daytime because you can use a

narrower, longer beam.



The lens on these lights is especially good for those that are concerned

about a wide beam blinding on-coming traffic because the beam gradually

gets dimmer from the center to the edges, but without an annoying hot spot.
