Look like pretty wild weather coming up in the next 60 mins but what the
hell, I am off to see John Abeni at Europa bikes in Kensington, Sydney.

I lost my second safety light yesterday - the sucker fell off the chain
and I never noticed. Never mind, Johnno will have another one to sell me.

The chain? that sounds an odd place to mount a light......

Sorry, I meant I had it mounted on a dog choker chain and it was hooked
onto my belt - it looks cool and that is also important

I gotta run cos I wanna catch this little storm cell which is gonna be
passing overhead. My guess is that it'll disappear within 20 mins given
the size on the radar so I don't wanna miss it.

I've got an old europa bike that i've had for the last 15 years.
(It used to be a 'hybrid' but aparrently now it's a 'flatbar road bike'),
hard to keep up sometimes!! ...
All i know is it BLOODY great! It's damn near indestructable ... I've done
countless tours on it ... abused the hell out of it and it has never let me
down!!
If your off to europa cycles let me know how it looks inside because i
haven't had to take my bike there for years!

Ah, so that is what my "god" bike is called Learn something new everyday.

I have been told Abeni builds some good bikes. I owned one years ago but
lost it when moving between various houses.

I don't think much has changed other than John has probably grown older
and is a bit more frail. You may want to drop in and say g'day to him

The rhythmic movement attracts the eye of passing drivers.
