Just wear 'em, if you are really worried about them falling off buy those string things from an optician for a couple of dollars. For my daily commute I wear prescription safety glasses supplied by my employer because they are free! but I have never damaged a pair at least not riding. The worst time is waiting at traffic lights when glasses tend to steam up a bit but soon clear once you are moving again. The only other problem I can think of is riding in the rain. I have found that once the rain drops on the lens are enough to make seeing difficult I rub them with my fingers to 'wet' the lens (ie smear the water over the surface) and they are usually Ok for the rest of the journey. Anyway I haven't really found wearing glasses on a bike any problem at all. Regards Bruce |
