Scam, click "view seller's other items"
262 items for a seller with no feedback.
Pay as much as you like, you won't get a bike.

Blatant scam. That fraudster has been listing hundreds of auctions
per day for months. The listings are gone at the moment, but wait no
more than 24 hours and they'll be back. I've seen them get reposted
as much as 5 or 6 times in one day. Note that the listings all tell
the victim to get in touch before bidding (or some such) so that the
fraudster can keep contact off eBay and reel in the sucker. Many
times, the listings are *intentionally* in an inappropriate category
so that the fraudster can claim eBay killed the listing for *that*
reason. I do not know how many people have been ripped off by this
particular scamster, but I've been seeing these (or similar) listings
since last September, and they had been getting posted for a while
already when I got wind of them.

When buying something expensive on eBay, use EXTREME caution. If you
aren't familiar with the ways to spot a bogus listing, you're probably
well advised to simply shop elsewhere for such high-dollar goods.

A nice, simple way of protecting yourself against fraud on Ebay: just
tell the selller once you've won the item that you'll be in the area
and you're going to pick up the item youself. If things get weird, drop
the deal. If they're happy for you to do that, it's probably genuine.

Noting that the scamsters have become fond of listing themselves as
being in the UK but shipping worldwide (or in Madrid, etc), this
tactic has limited effectiveness. (At least one scammer was in Italy
but listed his location as being in a number of other places.)
Another major thing, though; NEVER follow through on a deal made as a
result of an auction which was cancelled. OTOH, don't assume that
it's not a rip just because the auction wasn't zapped by the eBay
security people before it ran to the end of the listing period. They
can't catch all of the scams in time.
