Default Fausto Coppi San Remo

Has anyone any experience of this bike? Seems reasonably specified for the
money - £800 list, £550ish to buy.

Views? Alternatives for the same sort of amount?

Thanks, everyone.

I bought a 2002 San Remo when I was in the UK last year. I really like
the bike for the price, though it is quite a bit stiffer than my 198X
Raleigh 480! I weigh 230lbs and have not had a problem with it yet,
though I did replace the wheels, tires, brakes (105) and seat (Brooks).
The wheels that come with the bike are weak and kept flatting my tubes
because of manufacturing defects. Note: After 2002, the bike has decals
instead of paint. The bike is also a little heavy, which doesn't bother
me as I am a recreational rider.

At the very least, you'll have a decent Shimano 105 bike that very few
people have seen!
