No doubt these low-lifes will grow up to make typical motorists.

The cyclists are starting to annoy pedestrians, now. I thought it wouldn't
be too long before there was a backlash against cyclists and their bad
behaviour.

"Four teenagers launched a brutal attack on a cyclist,...just because he
had ginger hair".

Ginger and a cyclist? Some people just don't have much luck.

Bicycles are for Children. Like masturbation, something you should grow
out of.
There is something seriously sick and stunted about grown men who want
to ride a bike."

Walking from Clerkenwell to Chelsea during the strike, the main hazard I
encountered was cyclists using the pavement.

That is a hazard even when there isn't a tube strike. why isn't the law
enforced against cyclists using the pavement?

Of course, in most circumstances, it should be enforced. But at the same
time, funding should be put in place to massively extend the network of
shared footpaths. These footpaths should conform to certain standards
consistently across the country. At the moment I can think of a few near
me that are misleading and/or downright dangerous.

Consideration should also be given to allowing left turns on red by
cycles, as well as allowing cyclists to pass through red light in all
directions on red during a 'stopped in all direction' pedestrian sequence.

Consideration should be given for allowing left turns on red by ALL
vehicular traffic. After all, right turns on red seem to work well
enough in the USA.

We seem unable to make these leaps of common sense in this country.
