Default "Interesting" experience with truck's rear door....

Deuce-and-a-half truck set up for landscaping work with fully-enclosed
bed.

Rear door - made out of what looked like 1/4" steel plate the width of
the truck (8' ??), hinged on the right side, and about 4' high. (The
rest of the setup did not register with me.... maybe French doors?)

Truck comes around the corner turning left, door is unlatched, door
swings out the full eight feet so it is perpendicular to the truck
coming at me at eye level.

I am on the sidewalk going under the same railroad bridge the oncoming
truck is going under - so there's a concrete wall to my left.

Dropped the bike and hit the sidewalk as the door passed through the
space where me an the bike were.

Otherwise it would have been biker-polo bigtime.

Geeze!.... and I thought I had seen it all...

Don't bother reporting it to the cops. They couldn't care less.
