Default Pagosa Springs / Wolf Creek overnight parking ?

My wife and I just bought a 4wd conversion van and we have had great
success finding spots to park overnight in other areas but wondered if
anyone knows of a spot in Pagosa Springs? I doubt we could talk anyone
into letting us stay overnight up on the mountain somewhere but we
could offer our services to the mountain for exchange (EMT and Flight
Paramedic, respectively), if anyone knows someone who may be working up
there this season...

Thanks for any input,
Derek and Kelly

I'd contact the Wolf Creek Ski area and see if they know of a place.
Googling for five minutes didn't produce any good results. I'd also suggest
contacting the PS chamber of commerce.

Gary(and if visit the Phoenix area you can stay in my driveway...... :-)

I think you could park in the lot at Wolf Creek. Lots of people do for
overnight trips to the hut, back packing ...
And there are so many forest service roads that you could easily pull
off on one and find a wide spot.

It ain't like the Front Range, there is plenty of space out here!

Web site said "storm total 100 inches" that included 64" in the last
three days. Good thing too.
