Fine. So he is, in some manner, involved with the Airforce Combat
Controllers...Maybe he is a clerk, maybe he was a Combat Controller that
went to Somalia. Neither sets him up to be world class, in hand to hand
combat---their deal is more about use of lethal weapons. This would not help
him if he wandered into a bar and picked a fight with a bunch of SEALS, and
it would not help him very much if he picked a fight with a bunch or
football players, bouncers, bikers or WWF Wrestlers :-)

If I saw him in real life, and he had a gun in his hand, I'd call him sir.
Without the gun, I'd still see him as a joke, and I wouldn't **** on him if
he was on fire :-)

I have several friends who are SEALS, and a good friend who was well beyond
SEAL status, in all realms of combat. Non of these guys act or talk like
JD. None of them "look" remotely like him either :-)

learn early on, that tough talk causes real fights, and its not smart to
be picking these on a daily basis, even if you can win them.

Maybe I've missed something, but you appear to be the only one talking
about fighting.

learn a certain amount of respect which they offer in most verbal
exchanges---and this is maintained up until the moment they decide it is
time to actually get physical. JD starts out with this attitude and talk
which would be the last phase, for anyone who actually had physical
abilities in a confrontation--this is just about proof that he is no
more than a chat room poser.

Again, you come up with all these hypotheses about JD, yet JD's ridden
with loads of the regs on this board, he's a mountain bike tour guide and
once a year, runs an epic invitational SS event which people travel to
from all over the world. "Chat room poser?" Hardly. And you? You're
talking **** about getting large boys in to toilet cubicles on Usenet. See
