Default Ego-2 electric bike faster than car in city commuting race

Automobile Gridlock News: An Ego2 arrived faster by 2.5 minutes from
Granville Island to [home] at Main & 6th, approximately 2.5 miles thru
stop/go traffic. The Ego-2 electric bike rider took several shortcuts
via back alleys.

Other races indicate that generally, electric bikes are faster than
cars in any ride that is 3 miles or less. At 5 miles in city runs, the
ebike was only 2 - 4 minutes slower.
