Default Spinskins (about...)

Hello, I'm going to buy the famous Spinskins protector for my MTB cycle.
In particular I would like the "Race" type.
Does anyone have recent experiences with this product for an XC MTB use?
Really does work so well how the constructors says?
It moves in the tires and causes problems?
Thanks very much.

Don't know much about the mtb product, but the "road" spinskins in my
friend's bike shredded to nothing after only about 100 miles or LESS on
them. I wouldn't use them if you gave them to me....
