Default What a lovely cycle home i had last night!

I had the most gorgeous ride home ever last night.

It was bright and sunny and warm and it felt like i could do another 10
miles easily!

Its looking like another similar afternoon today so i CANT WAIT to get out
of here at 5.15!

You probably had a stiff easterly wind - I had the same feeling. I
deliberately rode 15 miles into it so I could enjoy it on the way back.

Bast*rd easterly wind you mean. It's not fair, practically every day I have
a headwind into work, and by the evenings it's gone so I don't get any
benefit from travelling the other way on the way home. And as if that's not
bad enough, on days like yesterday it has to turn into a damn headwind on
the way home! Grrrr.

On a separate note, for some reason it always seems 'wrong' to me to call a
wind by the direction it blows _from_. Somehow my mind always wants to
think of, say, an east wind as one that is blowing _towards_ the east (I
wish it was, last night!). I have to consciously remind myself that is not
the convention, but I remain unconvinced that this is the way it should be!
