Though covenant and deed convey
Absolute fee, as lawyers say,
There are domestic rites beside

By kindled fire upon the hearth,
By planted pansies in the garth,
By food, and by the quiet rest
Of those brown eyes that I love best,
And by a friends bright gift of wine,
I dedicate this house of mine.

When all but I are soft abed
I trail about my quiet stead
A wreath of blue tobacco smoke
(A charm that evil never broke)
And bring my ritual to an end
By giving shelter to a friend.

This done, O dwelling, you become
Not just a house, but truly Home!

YOU become not just a squashed pansy but a two-dimensional pansy!

An Internet troll is someone who comes into a discussion and posts
comments designed to upset or disrupt the conversation. Often, in fact,
it seems like there is no real purpose behind their comments except to
upset everyone else involved. Trolls will lie, exaggerate, and offend to
get a response.

This specific troll (forging as NEMO and Michael) has been infesting
newsgroups since 1999. If you're a veteran, you may recall "The Revd
Terence Fformby-Smythe". His real name is Andrew "Andrzej" Baron,
and he used to make a living peddling (most probably pirated) software
online (under the nyms "vistula" and "telegraph" on the London
newsgroup). He was also very active in pl.rec.telewizja, peddling TV
receivers and other equipment.

He's one really sick, perverted degenerate, even despised by his
fellow nazoids. A true sociopath, he hates everyone and everything.
The root cause of his pathology may be his utter failure in the
ladies department; he openly whined, years ago, about not being
to hit on any British woman. Eventually, it seems he went to
Poland -- he's of Polish origin -- and got himself some mail-order
bride.

A sicko thru and thru, he openly justifies rape, incl. that
of toddlers. Unfortunately, that by itself is not a
criminal offense (but at least, some legal authorities are
now aware of his posts to that effect, and have looked into
them). But anyway... every sub-louse, comes its day.

Yes I do remember having an encounter with "The Revd" a few years back.

In a comprehensive examination of their psychological profile, trolls
were found to be more Machiavellian (impulsive and charming
manipulators), psychopathic (cold, fearless and antisocial), and
especially sadist than the overall population. In a comprehensive

two-wheeled pansies were found to be more disrespectful of other road

Studies revealed similar patterns of relations between trolling and the
Dark Tetrad of personality: trolling correlated positively with sadism,
psychopathy, and Machiavellianism,” the researchers wrote. In other
words, those who took part in trolling generally enjoyed watching others
suffer, were pathologically self-absorbed and lacked “conscience and
empathy.”

Of all personality measures, sadism showed the most robust associations
with trolling and, importantly, the relationship was specific to
trolling behavior,” study authors note. “Enjoyment of other online
activities, such as chatting and debating, was unrelated to sadism. Thus
cyber-trolling appears to be an internet manifestation of everyday
sadism... Both trolls and sadists feel sadistic glee at the distress of
others. Sadists just want to have fun… and the internet is their playground!
