Taking a long tour
"gotbent" nowhere@tobefound wrote in message ... snip. Also want to bring my metal detector. I'll need some clothes and a cooler, I guess. Maybe a first aid kit too... Any other suggestions? Lot's of condoms? ;-) Has anybody here done the A1A trip for real? I could use some pointers - like for dangerous areas and tight stretches of lonely road. snip I plan to leave sometime within the next 2 weeks... P2 Don't forget the nylons and chocolate too. Ha ha :-) I'm not going as far as Miami ;-) And a few essential tools (pump, allen wrenches, screwdriver, etc, patch kit, spare tubes, tire irons) too. Yes... Tools are important. Right now, I'm not sure about the expense of extra tubes because I'm not going to be super far from civilization where I can pick one up if I need to - but a patch kit would be a stupid thing to leave behind. I picked up some glass today but it didn't do any damage. Still, it made me think about such problems - and with all the hurricanes in the last 2 years, roofing nails are everywhere... P2 |
