Default Motopacing?

Did my first motopaced workout today thanks to a kid on a honda. ;-)

I had turned onto a straightway and looked to my left at a feeder road and
saw this teenager on a motorbike, about three carlengths back. Going about
15mph, I was just starting to shift and speed up, when I heard him behind
me starting to rev up through the gears on his little motorbike.

Since there was a road about 200 yds ahead going off to the right, I just
-knew- he was gonna try and blow by me and then right hook...so I upped the
cadence. Then I hear him a little closer still revving to the next gear -
it was the perfect stimulus, haha. I ended up blowing through on the
straightaway and he turned off but had to go behind me.

Beside the excellent motorpacing, it's gotta be a bit of a downer to get
beat over 200 yds on your motorbike by a guy on a bicycle.

(Now, if I can just get him to meet me there every afternoon that would be
great, lol.)
