The distances are irrelevant. When considering congestion it's the time spent on the road that is important. Congestion is a function of distance travelled and number travelling. A cyclist might cause a short periods of irritation to a few drivers but they don't cause congestion. Cyclists don't cause congestion because they don't get stuck in "traffic". They are always moving, unlike cars. |
