Q: Warning about shoe cleat screw length
A warning in the materials that came with my new Sidis cautions against
the use of screws that thread into the sole more than 7mm for the rear screws, 6mm for the front screw. Reference is made to their lack of responsibility for damage if the consumer exceeds these lenghts (the spelling in the Sidi lit ;-)). What is the failure that could result if the consumer exceeded those recommendations? Just wondering, App |

Warning about shoe cleat screw length
Probably sore feet from the screws protruding far enough contact the soles.

Warning about shoe cleat screw length
Damage to the shoe itself probably means the screw will damage the
stiffining plate in the shoe's sole. - - Chris Zacho ~ "Your Friendly Neighborhood Wheelman" "May you have the winds at your back, And a really low gear for the hills!" Chris'Z Corner http://www.geocities.com/czcorner |
