There's no need to worry - $5/gal gasoline is in the near future and that
will make cyclists out of a lot of people just like in the Netherlands.


Here in Canada Gas prices, are again flirting with $1 a litre (a little
larger then a US quart a little smaller then an imperial quart). That's
why I am again thinking of getting a bike.... It's getting too
expensive to drive, and transit is a fate worse then death, especially
on a hot day, crammed in a bus with 85 people, with the air-conditioner
crapped out, and most of them having smelling like they have not
bathed in a month or so.....
