I like my Luxos because it brings that romantic, candle-lit dinner feel to my ride home. And then they derided me because I lubricate my chain with chain lubricant instead of wax. Finally I was attacked for being silently in favor of compulsion. |

Everything in product development these days is about connectivity. One company just came out with a new silent smoke alarm. When it detects smoke it sends you a text, tweets your friends, and posts a picture of the fire on facebook. http://www.powerstream.com/powerhumor.htm http://goo.gl/hqW3pt |

Daylight but raining. I'm sure my lights made me a little more conspicuous in the conditions. I got a bargain on my light, but it still was not cheap. It is fine on a dry nights. I also run a cheap front flasher. http://www.nashbar.com/bikes/Product...59_-1___204664 I almost got plastered by a couple of cars pulling in front of me when I first got my dyno light, and of course, I chalked that up to not being seen. It could have been bad luck, so now I have my good-luck, flea-watt front flasher. Rain eats light. Even with bright battery lights, I often feel like I am riding by Braille. It also doesn't help that I wear glasses. My dyno light is my every-night light, so on really dark and rainy nights, I stick to the lighted streets or the ones that I have memorized. -- Jay Beattie. |
