Default Speed Ross Contacts

Does anyone have any contact information for Peter Ross or know of other
persons riding Speed Ross bikes. These are straight tube SWB recumbents
which were made in England until a few years ago.

As I understand it, Peter Ross retired sometime in 2001 and a company
called http://www.kinetics-online.co.uk/ purchased the jigs and
fixtures for the Speed Ross. Whether or not they have any spares,
you'd have to enquire.
I think I must have purchased one of the last, and that was in April
2001.

Yep. Darth Ben bougth the jigs and stuff with the aim of putting the bike
back into production, but never found the time. He offered them for sale a
few years back, so I don't know whether he still has them. However, no-one
else has admitted to it.

Wasn't Peter Ross the originator of the Trice?

Trice, Festina and Gem (now Toucan) as well as the Speed Ross. And arguably
responsible for getting Mike Costin and Keith Duckworth together...

Yes that is the person I am looking for an e-mail address for. I had
reworked the Speed Ross bike he sold me six years ago and thought I would
e-mail him a picture and thank you note for the enjoyment I have gotten from
that bike.

I have a 1998 Speed Ross. I haven't ridden it for a couple years and
keep it as a collector's item. I exchanged an e-mail with Peter Ross
within the past 6 months. I doubt he wants his personal e-mail address
posted to this newsgroup but if you e-mail me privately I will give it
to you. E-mail me at my regular zakaplan at earthlink dot net address
as I seldom check this yahoo address which is just used for collecting
spam from the spammers that harvest newsgroups.
