Default Bike riding does not seem like exercise

I mean it is easier than walking. How can you get in shape riding a
bike? I ride an 1.5 hrs every second day or so and it just seems
horribly boring. I feel much better after a walk than a bike ride.

....If yer' getting too bored, try riding into the flow of traffic... or
do intervals crossing the four-lane at rush-hour... Or maybe just stick
w/the walk... it makes you feel better... Don't exert yourself too
much...

I'm doing it 1.5 hours per day. Which leaves me neither the time nor
the desire to edify you with the details.
