Default Rabobank podium caps

Maybe a Dutch reader will be able to answer this. Why do the Rabobank
podium caps say "Keep Supporting Asia"? Tsunami relief?

Yes, on several levels: moral support, incentive to donate money to
Dutch giro-account 555, and also the caps are for sale (no idea where,
though). It was initiated by the cycling team, and is picked up by the
bank. http://www.erikdekker.nl/keep_supporting_asia.htm says: "The team
itself actively supports the fund raising by converting all of their
spring kilometers, counting from Milan-San Remo, into a monetary
donation. The results will be deposited in the Rabobank Employee Fund.
The bank will double the money." No word on the conversion factor (for
example 1 euro per km?). The page continues: "The riders will also
develop more ideas to increase the proceeds. Think for example, auctions
of special and/or signed jerseys."
