sp what do i do....
i called em but they didnt answer...
can i even sand that front part down to even it out... is that the only
difference???

They close at 5pm est. I'd call them tomorrow. I wouldn't screw with
trying to make it fit your hardware.

No, they will cover shipping as long as the KH base is what you
ordered. Just don't drill or anything yet.

Personally, I prefer the shape of Miytata (Wallis) bases. They've got
less curve in them and since the sidewalls are higher theres more room
to grip during SIF.

They are slightly wider and longer. As a result of the less curve, the
KH style post may or may not quite fit the contour of the base.

I have no idea how sanding it down will effect it. Scott Wallis has
spacers which allow you to use KH handles/bumpers on Miyata bases. I
bet he has some of those left over which hes willing to sell or maybe
you could fashion your own.

They are just machined pieces of plastic to be similar in shape to the
footprint of the bumper and handle, you can get a glimpse he

I know some people have used washers before but I don't know how that
affects the strength of the bolts/handles.
