Keighley rider Chris Akrigg relives horrific plunge

9:05am Monday 23rd May 2011
By Marc Meneaud ?

A champion mountain biker who survived a 40ft cliff plunge while
filming his latest video spoke today about the horrific incident and
his slow road to recovery.

Chris Akrigg, of Keighley, spoke out after an accident in which earth
gave way beneath his bike wheels, causing him to fall from Earl Crag,
a large grit stone outcrop near Cowling, Keighley.[...]

Could have happened just as well to a hiker on the same portion of trail.

Not unless the hiker was drunk as a skunk.

Yes, but a hermit that knows far more about human nature than you do. You
were clueless about how to handle scofflaws like Ed Gin and Associates. They
destroyed ARBR thanks to you and your type. What is your type? Just a
kibitzer because you lack the courage to confront anyone on their terms.

Courage is the greatest of all the virtues because it makes all the other
virtues possible.

For the 6.02 x 10^23 time, Ed Gin is *NOT* Johnny NoCom [1].

Courage is the greatest of all the virtues because it makes all the other
virtues possible.

Ignorance of danger is often confused with courage.
