I actually saw a guy (yes, a guy!) riding wearing a RONA jersey while
the Tour de Toona was going on a few miles away.

(Recall that Jeanson had a positive test at Tour de Toona in 2005)

I'm the guy on a Trek Madone with full Discovery kit, matching Giro
helmet, black socks and a LiveStrongTM bracelet. Oh wait, about 1 in
10 guys is suited up like that.....

Yeah, but you're the guy with your helmet on backwards.

Maybe that doesn't help either.

The really sad thing is that my 13yr old and I followed one of these
guys the other night on a ride. He was fatter than me, which is going
some, totally kitted out, blowing stop signs, gesturing at drivers,
and acting like a total jackass, all at an average speed of about
17mph. We finally just about came up on him when we had to go a
different way, but it was a great example of how not to act, and be a
total Fred for my son.

Without Goofus, Gallant just looks like a goody-two-shoes.

It would be better to wear it while wokking your dog on the grill at the
park.

I'd like to buy an Astana jersey - I think they're cool (and I never got a
Festina jersey back in the day).

I wanted a le Groupement cap but never could find one. I saw jerseys but wasn't
interested in that. That team was doomed from the off - I think they only lasted
about six months or so.
