There must be a law named after this phenomenon, but the more securely
you lock something, the faster it will get stolen.

The Simpson demonstrated it when they tried to get rid of their
trampoline. They couldn't give it away, so Bart chained it down.

By the time Bart explained the theory, they turn around and Snake The
Thief was in the middle of loosening it.
