Police rush in as cyclist seriously injured after hit and run in Lincoln

A cyclist has been rushed to hospital after a hit and run in Lincoln. The 39-year-old man was riding his bike in Turner Avenue at 6.30pm last night, Friday, July 24 when he was involved in a collision with a Peugeot Estate car. The cyclist was rushed to hospital after sustaining serious injuries. The driver of the car, a man, is alleged to have failed to stop at the scene. Police were called to the incident and have now launched an investigation. As part of their enquiries, police are asking any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time, or who may have any information about the incident to get in touch. Perhaps he stopped 50 yards further on? Police were called to the incident and have now launched an investigation.
